Kingsman: The Secret Service

The medal and the mentor

Harry is the agent who survives in 1997 thanks to Lee Unwin's sacrifice. Feeling responsible, he gives Lee's son Eggsy a medal with an emergency number. Seventeen years later he gets Eggsy out of jail, reveals himself as Galahad and nominates him for Kingsman. Investigating the billionaire Valentine, he is caught in an exploding chip, falls into a coma, recovers and follows the trail to a church in Kentucky. There he fights through crazed worshippers and is shot by Valentine. Before that, Harry poses as a philanthropist to meet Valentine and notices that the billionaire's allies all share the same neck scar from an implanted chip.

Alive, but without memory

Harry survived the shot thanks to Statesman's nanotechnology but lost his memory. Eggsy helps him recover it by threatening to shoot a puppy that resembles Harry's old dog. Lucid again, he goes to Italy for the antidote and, on the way, distrusts the agent Whiskey. Harry shoots Whiskey, but Eggsy saves him. In Cambodia he destroys Poppy's robotic dogs with help from Elton John, and they defeat the villain and the traitor. In Cambodia, he and Eggsy find Poppy's hideout and inject her with a concentrated dose of her own tainted heroin. In the end he helps save the poison's victims.
