Quick recap

Tired of waiting for Colin, Penelope changes her look and sets out to find a husband. Colin comes back from his travels, offers to help her gain confidence, and the two fall for each other. Lord Debling courts Penelope, but Colin declares himself and they get engaged. Meanwhile, Cressida, pushed toward a marriage with a much older man, claims to be Lady Whistledown. Colin discovers Penelope's secret and feels betrayed. In the last episode, she confesses at a ball in front of everyone, and the queen forgives her. The couple makes up. Francesca marries John Stirling and meets Michaela, his cousin. In a flash-forward, Penelope and Colin are parents and authors.
