Quick recap
A collection with a second epilogue for each of the eight novels, written years later at readers' request. The pieces check in on each couple long after their book ends: there's a pall-mall rematch, letters that stay unopened and even an epilogue told in first person. The book closes with the story Violet in Bloom, which shows a young Violet Bridgerton at the start of her courtship with Edmund, father of the eight siblings. Julia Quinn says she never gave Violet her own novel because Edmund dies too young, and she doubts she could write another hero worthy of her.
