Quick recap

Nalla, Zsadist's daughter, has grown up sheltered by her father and the Brotherhood, and she's restless. She meets Nate, a violent, vengeful fighter who was once tortured in a human lab and is cursed with immortality. After he breaks a cardinal rule of the war, the Brotherhood sees him as a dangerous liability. Fighting side by side, Nalla and Nate grow close, and she knows her sire will never approve. Nate has also secretly struck a bargain to end his immortality. When the enemy closes in, Nalla has to choose between her mate and her father. The publisher doesn't reveal the ending.
