Quick recap

Vishous, the genius Brother who sees the future, wants nothing to do with love. Wounded in battle, he lands in the hospital under surgeon Jane Whitcomb and ends up taking her back to the mansion. With her, V opens up for the first time. Meanwhile his mother, the Scribe Virgin, demands he become Primale, the male of the Chosen. V tries to give Jane up to protect her, and she dies in a car crash. The Scribe Virgin brings her back as a spirit who can take physical form. In the end, Jane stays with V, and Phury takes the Primale role instead.
