Quick recap

The Surprise waits for repairs in Malta. Jack and Stephen befriend Laura Fielding, whose husband is a prisoner in France. A French spy ring leans on her to inform, and Stephen uses her to feed them false material. Jack is sent to the Red Sea after a Turkish galley said to carry French silver, but the cargo is lead: it was a trap. Stephen hears a rumor that Jack is having an affair with Laura and even challenges his friend. On a new mission, HMS Pollux blows up in a French ambush with Admiral Harte aboard. Someone high in British command is a traitor, and nobody knows who.
