Quick recap

Jack, Stephen and Diana sail from Halifax on a mail packet, chased by American privateers after Stephen's papers. Then Sir Joseph Blaine sends Stephen to the Baltic to talk the Catalan garrison of Grimsholm island into surrendering. Stephen speaks Catalan with his godfather, the colonel in charge, and Grimsholm falls without a single death. On the way back, Jack's ship, HMS Ariel, loses her chronometer and is wrecked in Brittany. Jack, Stephen and the Lithuanian officer Jagiello are locked up in the Temple in Paris and dig their way out. Diana buys their freedom with the Blue Peter diamond. Crossing the Channel, Stephen and Diana marry.
