Quick recap

Véronique d'Hergemont spots, in a movie, the signature she used as a child painted on a hut, and sets out to learn why. The trail leads to the island of Sarek in Brittany, where the father and son she thought lost are living. An old prophecy speaks of thirty coffins, four crosses and a God-Stone that grants life or death, and the islanders begin dying as if it's coming true. Cut off on the island, Véronique faces the horror alone until Don Luis Perenna, who is Lupin, arrives. It's the darkest book in the series, close to a horror novel.
