Quick recap

Lasher takes Rowan across Europe and tries to have children with her, without success. He wants a mate of his own kind and starts killing Mayfair women who can't survive the pregnancy. In New Orleans, Michael recovers, and the family works with the Talamasca to find Rowan. She escapes pregnant, gives birth to Emaleth, a Taltos, in a Louisiana field and falls into a coma. Lasher returns to the First Street house and tells Michael about his past life as Ashlar, son of Anne Boleyn and a saint in Scotland. Michael kills Lasher and buries him under the great oak. Rowan wakes, sees Emaleth, shoots her daughter and insists on burying her next to Lasher.
