The parents of a murdered young man ask Anita to raise him as a zombie, but she explains a murder victim only seeks revenge, and offers to help the police instead. Anita, Jean-Claude, Richard and Damian suddenly gain power, and Jean-Claude faces a challenge from the Dragon and her offspring, Primo. Police distrust of Anita grows as she works a case of vampires killing strip club workers and patrons. She and the cops kill several lesser vampires, but the leader, Vittorio, escapes, and the young man's murder stays unsolved. Anita learns to partly control the ardeur, binds Primo to Jean-Claude's service and accepts Nathaniel as her fourth lover. Adult romance, with many sex scenes.
