After Everything

A year later, Hardin still isn't over Tessa and is stuck on his second book. His mother suggests he make peace with his past, so he goes to Lisbon to find Natalie, a girl he exposed years earlier over a bet. She's wary at first, but they talk, and Hardin realizes he did to her what he did to Tessa. After a fight on the beach and a night in jail, he writes a new book, Before, with Natalie's blessing. At Landon's wedding, Hardin and Tessa walk down the aisle together as best man and maid of honor. His speech moves her, they make up, and he proposes. Years later, they have a daughter, and Tessa is expecting again.
