Quick recap

Media mogul Elliot Carver wants a war between Britain and China for the ratings and for exclusive broadcast rights in China. Using a device that scrambles GPS, he steers a British warship into Chinese waters and sinks it with a radar-invisible stealth boat. Bond goes to Hamburg and runs into Paris, his old flame and now Carver's wife, who pays with her life for helping him. Bond escapes in a BMW he drives by cell phone and teams up with Chinese agent Wai Lin. The two flee handcuffed together on a motorcycle through Saigon. On the stealth ship, Carver prepares to fire a missile at Beijing. Bond kills Carver with his own sea drill, traps henchman Stamper in the missile and rescues Wai Lin.
