Quick recap

In Istanbul, a hard drive listing NATO's undercover agents is stolen. In the fight atop a train, agent Eve takes a shot on M's orders, hits Bond, and he plunges into a river. Presumed dead, Bond only comes back after MI6 is attacked in London. Out of shape, he trails mercenary Patrice to Shanghai and Macau and reaches the island of Raoul Silva, a former agent M once gave up and who now wants revenge. Silva lets himself be caught, uses the new Q's laptop to break out and goes after M at a Parliament hearing. Bond takes M to Skyfall, his childhood home in Scotland, where old gamekeeper Kincade helps defend it. Bond kills Silva, but M dies of her wounds. Gareth Mallory becomes the new M, and Eve reveals her last name: Moneypenny.
