Quick recap

Bond recovers a microchip in Siberia that can survive an electromagnetic pulse, made by industrialist Max Zorin's company. He investigates Zorin at a horse sale in France with Sir Godfrey Tibbett and finds the horses win on drugs. Zorin spots the spy, has Tibbett killed and tries to drown Bond. The product of Nazi steroid experiments, Zorin is brilliant and unstable. His plan is to blow up a mine under the Hayward and San Andreas faults, flooding Silicon Valley so he can corner the microchip market. Bond teams up with geologist Stacey Sutton. Zorin's bodyguard May Day, abandoned by him in the mine, helps Bond haul out the bomb and dies in the blast. The final fight is atop the Golden Gate Bridge, and Zorin falls.
