Quick recap

Prince Winter goes after his brother Hailstorm, captured by SkyWings years ago, and the Jade Mountain winglet comes along. They pass through Glory's rainforest and an abandoned NightWing island, and Icicle wounds Kinkajou. A nervous SkyWing named Pyrite agrees to guide them, but Winter pulls off her necklace and reveals the truth: Pyrite was Hailstorm, transformed by magic. Winter takes his brother home. There he learns his parents set up a deadly trial in which one son would have to face the other. In the Diamond Caves, the brothers refuse to fight. Winter frees Foeslayer, a NightWing trapped in ice for ages, who knows the way to the lost kingdom. He leaves with her to save Jade Mountain.
