Quick recap

Umber is the youngest MudWing in his family and has always tried to protect his sister, Sora. After she causes a tragedy at Jade Mountain Academy, the two flee south. At sea, Umber is saved from a kraken by Mulberry, a hybrid dragon born of different tribes. Mulberry takes him to a hidden island, home to a community of dragons with dark pasts, descendants of exiles. Umber falls for Prince Mulberry and tries to uncover the island's secrets. When the dragons in charge try to stop him, he has to decide what matters most: his sister's safety, his new love or the truth. The book opens Arc 4 and sets the new prophecy in motion.
