Transformers: Beast Wars Vol. 1

Galavar, calling himself the new Megatron, steals a golden disk from the Maximal Science Ministry and flees aboard the Darksyde. Optimus Primal pursues him in the Axalon, and both ships crash on an energon-rich planet that shorts out their robot bodies; the ships' computers rebuild them in animal forms. The Maximal Nyx, now a bat, is captured and tortured by the Predacons. Dinobot, troubled by Megatron and Tarantulas's methods, frees her and is hunted by his own side. The Predacons attack the Axalon, and Tarantulas learns the Maximals were carrying protoform pods. In the end, Optimus saves Dinobot with the ship's cannons, and he agrees to stay with the Maximals.
