Quick recap

After Beast Wars, Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Blackarachnia and Rattrap return to Cybertron and find it ruled by Megatron and his army of Vehicons. They've lost their upgraded bodies and are losing their memories. The Oracle reformats them into techno-organic bodies, and the team sets out to free the sparks of Cybertron's population, which Megatron has imprisoned. The show runs 26 episodes, planned from start to finish. In the finale, Megatron absorbs the captured sparks and grows into a giant. Optimus knocks him off balance, and both fall into the planet's core, triggering a planet-wide reformatting: Cybertron becomes a fully techno-organic world. The Maximals are restored, and the population gets ready to live on the planet again.
