Quick recap
Morgan leaves Virginia and heads to Texas. There he meets John Dorie, a kindhearted former cop, and Althea, a journalist. The group crosses paths with Alicia, Nick, Luciana and Strand, who are carrying a lot of anger. In flashbacks, the season shows what happened to them: the stadium where Madison built a community was destroyed by the Vultures, led by Mel and Ennis, with help from a girl named Charlie. Nick seeks revenge and is shot dead by Charlie. Madison leads a herd into the stadium and sacrifices herself to save her kids. In the second half, a hurricane hits and Martha shows up, determined to make others strong by force. Martha is defeated, Charlie is taken in, and the group decides to help anyone lost on the road.
