Quick recap

Orso is king, but nobody trusts him. Leo dan Brock, hero of the North, feels snubbed by the crown and, with disgruntled nobles and Stour Nightfall's help, puts together a rebellion. Savine, now married to Leo, plays both sides to protect what she has built. Rikke, in the North, has to choose a side. While the nobles plot, the Breakers grow stronger in the cities and a money crisis makes everything worse. The war is decided in a battle at Stoffenbeck, where a betrayal changes the outcome. In the end, Orso wins, but the victory costs dearly: Leo comes back maimed, the conspirators pay, and revolt breaks out in the streets of Adua.
