Quick recap

Warden Morgan shows up wounded at Harry's apartment: he was drugged and framed for the murder of Senior Council member Aleron LaFortier, and he wants protection. While investigating, Harry runs into a naagloshii, a shapeshifter that kidnaps Thomas and demands Morgan in exchange. Harry bonds with Demonreach, the island's spirit, and draws the Council, House Raith and the naagloshii there. Lara kills Madeline Raith, and Thomas survives but goes mad with hunger. At the trial in Edinburgh, Harry proves the traitor is Samuel Peabody, a Council clerk. Morgan kills Peabody, reveals he was protecting Luccio and dies. Ebenezar starts quietly building a group against the Black Council.
