  1. ReferenceIndara was born from Trinity

    S1E1: Indara's fight in the tavern, right at the opening, echoes Trinity's entrance in The Matrix. Leslye Headland said Carrie-Anne Moss's Jedi was built from that character.

  2. CameoChewbacca became a Jedi

    S1E2: the Wookiee master Kelnacca is played by Joonas Suotamo, the same actor who wears the Chewbacca suit in the more recent films.

  3. ReferenceCortosis came from Legends

    S1E5: the Stranger's helmet is made of cortosis, a metal that shorts out lightsabers for a moment. The material first appeared in 1998 in Michael Stackpole's novel I, Jedi, from the old Expanded Universe.

    S1E8: in Qimir's final scene, watch the figure hidden in the cave observing him. Headland confirmed it's Darth Plagueis, in his first live-action appearance.

    S1E8: in the last seconds, Vernestra enters the quarters of a master we only see from behind, green with pointed ears. It's Yoda, more than a hundred years before the era of the films. Headland said that if the series introduced Plagueis, it needed someone of equal weight on the light side.
