Quick recap

The last twelve Holmes stories, printed in The Strand between 1921 and 1927. Some of the best known are "The Illustrious Client", about a nobleman courting a young woman, "Shoscombe Old Place", "The Sussex Vampire" and "The Lion's Mane". Two stories, "The Blanched Soldier" and "The Lion's Mane", are narrated by Holmes himself, retired by then, instead of Watson. The book closes the canon, with Doyle's most varied and standalone cases.
