Quick recap
In Asgard, an icy land protected by Odin, the priestess Polaris Hilda prays to keep the polar ice from melting. A ring, the Nibelung Ring, turns her into a cruel ruler who wants to take the Sanctuary. Saori goes to Asgard and prays in Hilda's place to hold back the ice while her own time runs out. Hilda's sister Freya guides the Bronze Saints, who must beat the seven God Warriors and claim Odin's sapphires. Each warrior has a sad story, and several fights end in respect. With the sapphires, Seiya dons the Odin Robe and breaks the ring with the sword Balmung. Hilda is herself again, but someone was clearly pulling the strings.
