Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew

Ash wins a tournament in the kingdom of Rota and is named Aura Guardian, an honor tied to Sir Aaron, the realm's legendary hero. Out of Aaron's staff comes Lucario, sealed inside for centuries and convinced its master betrayed it. Meanwhile, Mew whisks Pikachu and Meowth off to the Tree of Beginning. Ash, May, Max, Brock and Lucario set out to rescue them, fighting through the tree's defenses. Inside, Lucario learns that Aaron sealed it away to save it and sacrificed himself for the kingdom. The tree falls ill, and Ash and Lucario use their Aura to heal it. Spent, Lucario passes on peacefully to join Aaron.

• Mid-credits During the credits, the group finds that the castle tapestry showing Sir Aaron now has Lucario standing beside him. Then Aaron and Lucario appear together in the afterlife, and Aaron tries a chocolate bar just like the one Max shared with Lucario.
