Quick recap

At Uva Academy in Paldea, Violet Lang, a student who calls himself a prince, hunts for the Herba Mystica to become the "Prince of Speed" with his Miraidon. Scarlet Koito is a professional treasure hunter searching for the treasures of ruin for a client. The pair get tangled up with Team Star, a band of rebel students Scarlet has unfinished business with. Across the five volumes out in English, they take on Team Star bosses, Gym Leaders like Katy, Brassius and Iono, and Titan Pokémon, and their starters evolve. In volume 5, Scarlet's client is revealed, Miraidon becomes a kidnapping target, and the pair head for Team Star's second base. The arc is still ongoing.
