Quick recap

X was a prodigy who won the Kalos Junior Tournament, but hounding from the press and adults drove him to lock himself in his room and shut out his friends. When Xerneas and Yveltal clash in Vaniville and wreck the town, Team Flare storms his house for his Mega Ring. X's Kangaskhan Mega Evolves, and he flees with Y, Shauna, Tierno and Trevor. On the road, Flare keeps chasing them, and Xerneas is captured. X reaches Flare's headquarters and faces Lysandre. The ultimate weapon fires, but the joint effort of the group and the Gym Leaders weakens it so no one dies. Lysandre is defeated, the public shuns the heroes, and three months later X plans to go to Shalour City to become an official Mega Evolution successor.
