The eighth film, from 2007, a condensed take on the Alabasta arc. Princess Vivi brings the Straw Hats to her kingdom, on the brink of civil war. Behind it all is Crocodile, hailed as a national hero, who uses Baroque Works and Dance Powder to cause drought and turn the people against the king. The crew draws an X on their arms to recognize each other after running into Bon Clay. Each of them takes on a Baroque Works agent, and Luffy defeats Crocodile. Pell carries the clock tower bomb into the sky, and the rain returns. Vivi chooses to stay, and the goodbye happens in silence, everyone raising the X on their arm.
