Quick recap
Filler arc. While Naruto trains, the Fire Temple takes in Sora, a rebellious trainee monk who mirrors Naruto: an outsider everyone treats with suspicion. The tombs of the former Twelve Guardian Ninja, who once protected the feudal lord, are robbed. Team Furido uses the reanimated bodies of those guardians to attack Konoha, which gets sealed off by a barrier. Sora learns that Asuma, a former guardian, killed his father, Kazuma, during an old coup. But Furido is Kazuma himself, manipulating his son and implanting Fox chakra in him to create a fake jinchūriki. Naruto reaches Sora, absorbs the Fox chakra inside him, and brings him back. Sora leaves the village to travel.
