Quick recap

Sasuke gets rid of Orochimaru and absorbs his power. Free, he gathers Suigetsu, Karin and Jūgo into a team called Hebi with one goal: find Itachi. In Konoha, Naruto and Kakashi put together two tracking squads to reach the brothers before the Akatsuki. Deidara finds Sasuke first, and their explosives-versus-lightning fight ends with Deidara blowing himself up. Naruto runs into a clone of Itachi, who talks with him and leaves him a mysterious gift. The trackers close in, but Tobi, the Akatsuki's masked man, holds them off with a strange technique. By the time the way is clear, Sasuke's trail is gone: he's already off to meet his brother.
