Quick recap

Three years later, Boruto returns to Konoha stronger, still wanted as the boy who betrayed the Hokage. He arrives in the middle of a new threat: the Divine Trees Code unleashed have taken human form and minds of their own, and they hunt ninja to become something greater. Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki and the rest try to understand the enemy while dealing with what the swapped memories did to each of them. Along the way, the Nine-Tails is reborn inside Himawari and Sarada awakens a new power. The series is ongoing: volume 8, the latest out in Japan, ends with the fight against the Divine Trees nowhere near over.
