On Parent and Child Day, each family spends the holiday its own way. Naruto spends the day with Himawari hunting for a Kurama plush, Boruto enters an eating contest with Chōji and Chōchō, and Sasuke talks with Sarada about his past and backs her dream of becoming Hokage. Episodes 96 and 97 are filler: Namida struggles to control her ear-splitting cry, and Shikadai considers leaving ninja life for politics.
