Quick recap

Julia McKenzie debuts as a calmer, more watchful Marple. In A Pocket Full of Rye, financier Rex Fortescue is poisoned at his desk, and the former maid Marple trained is murdered later. She ties the threats to an old business deal. In Murder Is Easy, Marple hears on a train about two suspicious deaths in Wychwood, and a third follows right away. In They Do It with Mirrors, Marple goes to help her old friend Carrie-Louise Serrocold, who may be slowly poisoned. In Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, Bobby Attfield finds a dying man, and his last words lead the case to the odd Savage family.
