Quick recap

An ad in the Chipping Cleghorn paper announces a murder at Little Paddocks, Letitia Blacklock's home, at 6:30 on Friday. The neighbors show up thinking it's a game. The lights go out, shots ring out, and a young hotel clerk, Rudi Scherz, drops dead. Miss Marple helps the police. She learns Letitia stands to inherit the fortune of an industrialist who died years ago, and that several people in the village aren't who they claim. Letitia's friend Dora Bunner is poisoned, and another neighbor is strangled. The truth: the woman of the house is Charlotte, Letitia's sister, who took her identity after the real Letitia died. Marple sets a trap, and Charlotte gives herself away.
