Quick recap

Molly Wright escaped neuralization as a child and spent her life looking for the MIB. In 2019 she finds it and is accepted as probationary Agent M at the London branch. She partners with H, an agent famous for saving the Eiffel Tower from an invasion. The two end up in the middle of a hunt for a powerful weapon, alien twins and a traitor inside the agency. They go through Marrakesh and an arms dealer's island. In the end, they find that the branch head, High T, was taken over by the Hive and wants to open a portal. With little Pawny's help, M and H stop him, and M becomes a full agent.

Hidden details

  1. Behind the scenesA production full of clashes

Director F. Gary Gray and producer Walter Parkes clashed during the film. Parkes had final cut, rewrote pages during shooting and even took over some directing duties. The studio tested two cuts, one from each, and picked Parkes's.

  2. ChangeThe original script had an alien band

An early draft had an edgier tone, with commentary on immigration, and villains inspired by the Beatles: an alien four-piece band whose members merged into one at the climax. Parkes swapped it all for a lighter story.
