Quick recap

Li Fong, a kung fu student of Mr. Han in Beijing, moves with his mother to New York and promises to quit martial arts after his brother's death. At school he meets Mia, the daughter of a former boxer who owns a pizzeria, and clashes with Conor, a karate champion. When Mia's father is hurt in a fight rigged by a creditor, Li sees he has to return. Mr. Han flies to New York and calls Daniel LaRusso, who teaches Li Miyagi-Do karate. Li enters the Five Boroughs Tournament and beats Conor with an adapted dragon kick. Daniel gets a frozen pizza as thanks.
