Quick recap

Treadstone shows the origin and present day of a secret CIA operation: a behavior modification program that turns recruits into near-superhuman assassins, erasing memory and morals. The series opens in East Berlin in 1973, when an agent, John Randolph Bentley, escapes his Soviet captors. It then jumps to the present day, where sleeper agents around the world are activated by force or awaken in a moment of high tension and resume their missions. It has ten episodes and was canceled after one season.
