Quick recap

Reacher travels to Washington to meet Major Susan Turner, who commands his old unit, the 110th Military Police. He arrives to find she has been arrested for espionage. Soon he is accused too, of an old crime, and the two run. Along the way they uncover a conspiracy over arms sales and opium smuggling, and learn that a teenager, Samantha, may be Reacher's daughter. With an elite hunter on their trail, the chase ends in New Orleans during a Halloween parade, where Reacher and Turner clear their names.
