Quick recap

Aenea sends Raul to fetch the Consul's ship. When they reunite, she is grown and they become lovers. Aenea reveals that anyone who takes her communion can reach the Void Which Binds but can no longer be resurrected by the cruciform. At a Dyson sphere, Raul learns that the TechnoCore uses resurrected humans as processors and drains the Void. On Pacem, Aenea confronts the pope and is arrested. Nemes tortures her, and Cardinal Lourdusamy burns her alive. Her last thoughts reach nearly all of humanity through the Void and spark a revolt. Raul escapes the cell where he was writing, travels to Earth and finds Aenea again. They get two years together before she must return to the past, and he learns he is the father of her child.
