Quick recap

In the present day, a giant rift opens in the Earth, and scientists set up a base to study it. Tom Kullersen, son of one of the researchers, discovers that dragons live inside and befriends one, Thunder. With a group of classmates, each with a dragon of their own, he explores the underground world and keeps it secret from the grown-ups. It's a new cast in an era far from Hiccup's, but in the same universe.
