On his birthday, Hiccup gets home to find that Toothless has eaten three-quarters of Stoick's throne. The punishment is losing his dragon notebook. Worse, the manual How to Train Your Dragon has gone missing, and Toothless had a hand in it. With Camicazi and Fishlegs, Hiccup flies a stealth dragon to the Island of Forget Me, home of the Meathead Public Library. Driller dragons live there, along with a hairy, scary librarian who doesn't welcome visitors. Finding the right book is going to cost them.
