Quick recap

Twins CeCe and Devin come to stay with their dad, Anthony Brewer, a botany professor in Brooklyn. He keeps the basement off-limits. With new friends, they explore an abandoned fort tied to four teens who vanished in 1994. Back then, Anthony's brother Matty died too. The cause is a spaceship that crashed at the fort and keeps people in pods, studied since 1969 by the Orion Project. Monster dust starts changing Anthony's body. In the finale, the kids rescue Anthony and free the 1994 teens. Anthony and Jen save the kids and their friends, and the ship gathers up the goo and vanishes into the sky. In the last shot, Trey throws up black goo.
