Quick recap

Gabe spends Christmas in Egypt. His parents rush off to Alexandria and leave him with his scientist uncle Ben and cousin Sari, who are exploring a pyramid near Cairo. Ben fears his team has woken an ancient curse. Sari vanishes in the tunnels, and later Ahmed, a member of the team, tries to grab the kids at a museum. Inside the pyramid, Gabe falls into a mummy-preparation room. Ahmed shows up, furious that a princess's tomb has been disturbed, knocks Ben out, and marches everyone toward a tar pit. Gabe holds up the mummy hand he carries as a charm, the mummies come alive and drive Ahmed off. Back at the hotel, Gabe's parents are safe.
