Jordan and Nicole Blake live in Pasadena and have never seen snow. Their dad, a photographer, heads to Alaska to find the Abominable Snowman and brings them along. Their guide flees with the dogs and sled, the kids get lost, fall into a crevice, and find the monster frozen in a block of ice. Dad ships the creature, still in ice, back to Pasadena, and Jordan sneaks some snowballs from the cave in with it. At home, one buries a whole palm tree and another freezes Nicole solid. Jordan frees the monster, which hugs her until she thaws, then runs off in search of cold. In the end, the bully twins Kyle and Kara Miller dig up the snowballs and start throwing them.
