Quick recap

Justin and Marissa Clarke travel with their dad, an author, to the forests of Brovania, in Europe, in search of the Lost Legend, a manuscript kept in a silver chest. One night a dog called Silverdog leads the kids to Ivanna's cabin, where she sends them on a survival test in the Fantasy Forest with Luka, raised by wolves. They face mice, bats, and giant cats. Back at the cabin, they find Ivanna is a wind-up robot. Luka peels off his fake fur: he built everything to guard the treasure. The chest holds an egg, which the family trades for the Legend. The manuscript opens with a warning that whoever owns it will be lost forever. At once, their dad realizes he has no idea where they are.
