Quick recap

Tyrion rules King's Landing as Hand of the King, replaces Cersei's trusted men and tests the council's loyalty with false information. Arya ends up a captive at Harrenhal, serving her family's enemies without anyone knowing who she is. At Winterfell, Bran handles the lord's duties while Robb is at war and starts having strange dreams. Jon pushes beyond the Wall with the Night's Watch, where the wildlings are gathering. In Qarth, Daenerys is welcomed as a curiosity and coveted for her dragons. The volume ends with the armies closing in and the worst of the war falling on the common folk.
