Quick recap

Fani arrives in England for her exchange year, with a new family and her host sister, Tracy. To cope with homesickness, she decides to keep her distance from Leo and leaves his emails unanswered. Leo feels rejected, and the long-distance relationship wobbles. With help from Tracy and her new friend Ana Elisa, Fani starts enjoying the country and gaining independence. Then comes Christian, kind, romantic and persistent, with anonymous gifts and secret plans, and Fani is torn between what she feels for him and what she still feels for Leo. The year ends on a twist that sets up her return to Brazil.
