Quick recap

Nine years later, twins Leto and Ghanima realize their aunt Alia has been taken over by the memory of Baron Harkonnen, an Abomination. House Corrino and the Bene Gesserit plot against them, and a mysterious Preacher gains followers among the Fremen. The twins survive assassination attempts, and Leto, in a spice trance, sees that humanity survives only along one path. To follow it, he covers his body in sandtrout and becomes more than human. The Preacher turns out to be Paul and is killed. Leto returns, confronts Alia, who takes her own life, and takes the empire. He marries Ghanima for politics and lets Farad'n father the heirs, since he can't have children.
