Quick recap

Goku climbs to Kami's lookout, the god of Earth, and learns that Kami and Piccolo were once one being, split long ago. To bring Shenron back, Kami revives Krillin, Roshi and Chiaotzu, and Goku trains for three years with him and Mr. Popo. At the 23rd Tournament, Goku runs into a fiancée he'd forgotten: Chi-Chi, the Ox-King's daughter, whom he promised to marry as a kid. Kami enters using a young man's body to try to seal the new Piccolo, and fails. In the final, Goku beats the Demon King's son but lets him live, since his death would kill Kami. Before the wedding, he and Chi-Chi put out the fire on Frypan Mountain.
