Quick recap

Tris and Tobias flee after the attack that destroyed Abnegation and hide among Amity. Each faction picks a side, and Erudite, led by Jeanine, hunts the Divergent. The fugitives pass through the Factionless, where Tobias meets his mother again, and through Candor, where a truth serum exposes Tris's secrets. She carries guilt over what she did and starts risking her life carelessly. Tensions between factions push the city toward war. Tris learns that Abnegation guarded information Jeanine wants at any cost, and that what it reveals could change Chicago's course.
